Zespri launches yellow and nutrient-packed SunGold kiwi fruit in India

Zespri launched its new variant, the SunGold Kiwi fruit. in India. It is yellow in colour, sweet, has a succulent, silky and juicy texture, and is infused with the richness of Vitamin C, potassium, Vitamin E (15 per cent daily value [DV] per 148g serving), folate and 2g fibre.

It is also high in trace minerals and is naturally low in sodium, fat and has a low glycaemic index (GI) of 38. The hairless fruit would be available at local supermarkets between May and October, and priced at Rs 40 ($0.67 USD).
