New market value for vegetables in Germany 2014

The 'AMI Markt Bilanz Gemuse 2014', the market value for vegetables in the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft, has been available since April 14th. After 
a slight decrease in recent years in the import of vegetables into Germany the quantity of imports stabilised in 2013 as per preliminary figures, according to this information.

The total vegetable import reached the same level as the previous year. Some vegetables were imported in larger quantities than in 2012. According to preliminary figures the overall import of fresh vegetables reached almost 3.1 million tons for 2013. Also the preliminary worth of imports shows an impressive growth. With around 3.7 billion Euro this exceeds the value of 2012 by 3.3% and the value from 2011 by 10.6%.

The 200 page edition of the 'AMI Markt Bilanz Gemuse 2014' is published in A5 format and costs 192.60 Euro inclusive 7% VAT and postage. The e-book is available as a PDF document for 254.70 Euro inclusive 19% VAT. Both versions are now available to order at www.AMI-infrmiert.de/shop.
