Veguarc fosters Guatemalan agriculture

With a brand name that means natural fountain of life in the Mayan language, Veguarc is growing Guatemala's agriculture industry with their Sayab brand.

Founded in 2007, Veguarc grows and exports Sunburst squash, Patty Pan squash, green zucchini, green french beans, yellow french beans, tiger squash and baby carrots. Global GAP certified and made up of 500 growers and 150 packers, they've taken advantage of the benefits the Guatemalan climate affords to achieve 125 percent yearly growth shipping their products to Canada, Europe and the U.S.

Veguarc is convinced that in order to make Guatemala a competitive country in this globalized world, education and good values need to be seeded, nurtured and eventually harvested just like the high quality products we offer to the world.

You can visit Veguarc at Fruit Logistica in Berlin at Hall 3.2, stand C-20.
