Ireland: Fyffes directors raise shareholdings

Fyffes PLC has announced that Chairman David McCann and Finance Director Thomas Murphy each acquired 14,940 shares in the company at a price of EUR0.85 per share.

McCann now has about 2.0 million shares, or 0.68% of the company's issued share capital, while Murphy has 637,346 shares, or 0.21%.

Company Secretary Seamus Keenan acquired the same number of shares at the same price, taking his holding to 323,103 shares, or 0.11% of the company's issued share capital.

The directors were appropriated the shares by the Trustees of the Company's Approved Profit Sharing Scheme on December 13.
