France: Winter season brings savoy cabbage and kale

This winter is the season for Prince de Bretagne's savoy cabbage. It is sold fresh throughout the winter. The mild climate of Brittany's vegetable producing areas means cabbages grow throughout the winter, so producers can continue to harvest and sell them with no storage required.

The savoy cabbage has good sizing at +1.2kg to as large as +1.5kg.

Besides the savoy cabbage they will also sell kale for the first time this year. This product will be available loose in 3kg boxes or in bunches of 250gr.
