Venezuela: Rains reduce potato yield per hectare by 15 to 20%

The Fedeagro Deputy Director for Vegetables, Emmanuel Escalona, said that the potato yield per hectare has fallen by 15 to 20% over the past few weeks, as a result of heavy rains. This drop in production is also related to problems in the germination of the seeds distributed by Agropatria.

Despite all this, the Fedeagro Director for Vegetables, Gerson Pabón, assured that Agropatria has improved the distribution of inputs in the Andean region compared to the previous year.
