Last Friday the first Brazilian yellow melons of the SAMBA brand were unloaded at Staay-Hispa. "The yellow melons are of a very good quality and have a good brix. Despite there still being a good supply of yellow melons from Spain, we have played into the demand of a number of customers to start importing yellow melons from Brazil," says Fred Rennen.
"We expect Galia, Cantaloupe and water melons in the brands Mossoro, Samba and Brazil from week 36/37. Our suppliers have all necessary certifications and meet all demands in the area of MRL," says the importer.
"Staay-Hispa is a year-round melon specialist and gets its melons straight from growers that we have a long standing relationship with. This means we can ensure continuity in quantity and quality of the right varieties."
