Spain: Valencian exports to the US up 125% in four years

The General Director for Internationalisation, Mar Casanova, has recently stated that, "companies based in the Valencian Region have demonstrated their competitiveness in a market as mature and competitive as the United States, where exports have grown by 125% in the past four years; a tendency that continued during the first four months of 2013, when they increased by 44%."

Mar Casanova made this announcement at the opening of the workshop "Business Opportunities in the United States" organised by the Council of Economy, Industry, Tourism and Employment, Cámara Valencia and the Embassy of the United States in Spain, where she described the US market as "a technologically advanced and well diversified economy with the world's best companies."
