Ceradis launches fungicides Elim® SP and CeraQuint® SP in Colombia

Ceradis B.V. is pleased to announce the introduction of Elim® SP and CeraQuint® SP in Colombia for tomato and potato respectively. These fungicides were developed as an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional pesticides used in farming. Elim® SP contains the active ingredient copper while CeraQuint® SP contains active ingredients copper and phosphate. Crop specific registration expansions are currently on their way.

“We are excited to add these products to the Ceradis global portfolio and have the opportunity to share our patented technology. Ceradis focuses in creating new products that are cleaner and safer for the user and environment. The commitment and effort of our representants in Colombia, Flor Alba Martinez and Dr. Hugo Bolhuis, made all this possible” said Wim van der Krieken, CEO of Ceradis B.V.

Elim® SP has been recently certified by Control Union for the use in organic agriculture. Elim® SP provides tomato growers an environmentally friendly alternative to protect their plants against a broad spectrum of fungi.

“With CeraQuint® SP double mode of action and low dose copper organic fungicide Elim® SP, we are capable to address current market needs with high efficacy at comparable price/performance and are well prepared for upcoming trends that aim towards decreasing the amount of active ingredient per hectare and consequently reducing the chemical load on the crops,” said Desiree Engelen, director at Ceradis.
