Savino Del Bene at Fruit Logistica 2013: a growing logistics service for international fresh produce
As Linda Carobbi (Corporate Director Perishable Division) said, "The volumes of fresh fruit that Savino Del Bene sent from Italy to the rest of the world increased from 3,800 TEUs in 2011 to 5,000 TEUs in 2012, with an increase of about 32%. This is despite the fact that the last few months of 2012 have seen a general reduction in exports from Italy due to some objective factors, such as a lack of product and a consequent rise in prices."

The Savino Del Bene group is exhibiting in Berlin, on the occasion of the exhibition Fruit Logistica (6-8 February 2013), in Hall 4.2, Stand C18. At the booth there will be Linda Carobbi, Franco Capponi (Italy Sales Director Perishable Division), as well as other Italian colleagues and also a colleague from the office in Amsterdam.
"While in 2012 at the Fruit Logistica our fellow Brazilian and Spanish colleagues were present, there will be this year for the first time the French colleagues, together again with our Spanish colleagues. This confirms the increasing globalization of our company in the industry" adds Linda.
The core business of Savino Del Bene is to meet the needs of the goods for all services related to international transport. To this purpose, the company has established close relationships with all major shipping companies and also with airlines.
