In the German town Altlandsberg many young visitors joined in the horror trip during Hallowe'en this year. Here they enjoyed the Evelina apple with the night watchman, reported the German website Fruchthandel.de.
Parents and dentists alike were glad that an apple was a real alternative to all the sweet treats that children usually get on Hallowe'en. The days are becoming shorter and colder and there are usually vampires and witches around at Hallowe'en. Apples are usually not one of these scary monsters' favourite foods. But even vampires can't resist Evelina. The appearance and the taste of the fresh harvest are particularly convincing, says the apple's production company.
