Harvest Hobgoblin to dress-up produce aisles
Sure to generate hair-raising sales for retailers, the Hobgoblin stand-up colander bags are constructed for ease of display in Sunlight's matching point-of-sale bins, as well as for ease of use for customers. Grape lovers can conveniently wash the product through the colander bag and enjoy! Additional POS materials provided to retailers include display cards, posters and shelf dangers. Look for the Hobgoblin's QR code and scan to discover Halloween recipe demonstrations! With this festive merchandising program showcasing Sunlight's nutritiously delicious offerings, it's no trick when these treats vanish like a ghost in-store. Hobgoblin grapes are a fun and healthy snack alternative that families can enjoy together.
Nick Dulcich, Owner of Sunlight International, explains, "The Hobgoblin program is a fall-themed Halloween sales driver using varietals packed fresh during the peak of our harvest. The graphics we use are so fun, and my intent was to appeal to children, as well as their mothers. I wanted to bring the joy and excitement of Halloween to the produce department."
Sunlight sets out to enchant everyone's Halloween season by providing fresh and flavorful grapes in practical yet attractive packaging. It is packaging that is clearly making an impact, as Sunlight is a finalist in the Produce Marketing Association's 2012 Impact Award for its new Pretty Lady for the Summer bags. As PMA notes, "Great packaging can capture customer attention, drives sales and differentiate products from the competition."
All of Sunlight's grape bags are recyclable, using 60% less material than a clamshell, and easily reusable with a strong zip lock seal. The decorative, high-quality graphics and extremely clear material of the bags provide high-visibility and appeal, leading to quicker sales. The stand-up structure of the bags helps maintain better quality product, while the "grab-and-go" carrying handle and colander feature provide consumers with much-desired convenience.
Sunlight will be recognized as an Impact Award finalist during the PMA Fresh Summit in October.
