The Simply Asian Veggie Kit from Fresh Direct Produce has been chosen as a finalist for this year's PMA Impact award which recognizes innovation and excellence in produce packaging. The company, based in Vancouver, is one of Canada's leading fresh produce importers and wholesalers.
The Simply Asian Veggie Kit is a line of products that includes the ingredients needed to make a vegetable stir fry dish. It provides consumers an easy option to quickly prepare a meal, including vegetables, vegetable oil, peeled garlic, oyster sauce and simple instructions.
The winner of the PMA Impact award will be announced in October, and President and Co-founder of Fresh Direct, Davis Yung, said they are excited to be finalists.
