Ocean Mist Farms will introduce a new microwavable Brussels sprout pouch this fall, and though it's not on the market yet, it has already garnered a favorable reception.
The pouch is nominated for this year's PMA Impact award which recognizes innovation and excellence in produce packaging. The new one-pound package will be available next month, and everyone at Ocean Mist is excited about it, said Kori Tuggle, director of marketing for Ocean Mist Farms.
“We're ecstatic to be nominated again,” she said. “We were winners last year, so we're excited.”
