NZ: Zespri and Turners & Growers relations going well

Zespri has reported that its agreement with Turners & Growers is progressing smoothly.

It was in April this year when the company indicated a shift in direction over the relationship.

Zespri chief executive Lain Jager says that agreement will allow Turner & Growers to markets its Enza Gold kiwi in China, Hong Kong and South Korea.

Turner & Growers CEO, Geoff Hipkins has also reported his satisfaction with the relationship. He says the flexibility brought about by the new relationship has enables the sales of Enza Gold in some non designated markets, such as the US and parts of Europe as well as the agreed Asian nations.

"We can work together," Mr Hipkins said.
