Conference pear active on German market

Under the titel 'Ich esse meine Confrence Birne – knackig frisch oder mild-süß'
the German retailers and the trade press are actively informed about the advantages of the Dutch Conference pears. Especially in spring the Dutch Conference pear is ideal for selling. This spring offensive is run by GroentenFruit Bureau together with NFO Fruit.

After the first activities at the German fairs Grüne Woche and recently at the Fruit Logistica the Conference in the period from February to April will be in the trade magazine Fruchthandel Magazine three times and on the trade website
Fruchtportal.de with advertisements and editorial comment. In addition the German
site www.conferencebirnen.de is topical and has been extended with a new
Veggipedia. The first of four press releases has recently been sent to the German trade press. Themes, which are being discussed, are the ease of keeping Conference pears in stock, durability relating to the seven certainties and the two sides of the Conference pear: firm and crunchy but also soft and sweet.
