China: Garlic demand increased after Chinese New Year

Role 2003 KFT are well know for supplying fresh garlic to the European market. Andrea explains that fresh garlic prices have been relatively low for the last couple of months, this is unusual considering the high prices of recent years. The price of fresh produce in general was down in the last quarter of last year. Recently, foreign buyers' inventories have become shorter, the result is increased buying after Chinese New Year.

Role 2003 KFT will be at Fruit Logistica fresh from the Chinese New Year celebrations. MS Andrea Szalay, says she is looking forward to meeting customers old and new at the trade fair.

"We hope both old and new customers will enjoy the meeting with us. We will continually provide the best quality products and services to them. In order to establish mutual trust with Role 2003 KFT, we encourage new customers to begin with small orders. We believe that the good quality of our products will help us build up longer term relationships with them".

Role 2003 KFT intend to expand their market not only in Europe but also worldwide. "Meanwhile we will improve our supply capacity. After Fruit Logistica 2012, we will adjust our existing assortment according to customers need. Also we will increase the stocks of Chinese pomelo and chestnut in both the Netherlands and Hungary".
