Vanduzi to promore Mozambican produce in Berlin

Mozambican grower packer Companhia do Vanduzi SA, part of the Mozambican Group Mozfoods, is known for its high quality production of fresh produce supplied all year round.

Vanduzi will this year be participating with a stand in the Fruit Logistica Fair in Berlin, taking place between the 8th and 11th February. Vanduzi stand can be found in the International/ Africa/ Asia Hall 5.2, Stand C-11

The objective of the participation in the fair is to give exposure of the fresh produce range that Vanduzi produces and is available into Europe. These lines include baby corn, fresh chilies, fine beans, mange tout peas, sugar snap peas and okra.

This year the big novelty that will be communicated in the fair is that as of April 2012, Vanduzi will launch its own lines of Fair Trade produce which will include baby corn, fresh chilies, fine beans, mange tout and sugar snap peas.

These Fair Trade lines are grown around the Chimoio region under contract with small scale farmers offering a total area under production close to 10ha-1.
