McDonald's french-fry video features Idaho potato farmer

Idaho is home to J.R. Simplot who shook hands with McDonald's CEO, Ray Kroc, in 1967 to seal the deal that make his potatoes the first frozen fries used by McDonalds. The deal helped bolster the Idaho economy bringing in billions of dollars.

Before the deal McDonald's fries had always been made with fresh potatoes. This new video features farmer Allen Noble, who is seen in multiple McDonalds locations discussing the potato industry and the partnership they have with the fast food giant.
