Plant points added to packaging to promote diverse diets

Gosh! has introduced packaging updates for its core products, featuring a plant points indicator. This initiative aims to guide consumers towards diverse dietary choices through vegetable-based products.

The updated design will be applied to the core Gosh! range, including items such as Moroccan Spiced Falafel, Mediterranean Falafel, Sweet Potato Pakora, Beetroot Falafel, and Spinach & Pine Nut Bites. Each product incorporates a minimum of six plant points, achieved by combining vegetables, legumes, grains, seeds, herbs, and spices. This assists consumers in reaching a target of 30 different plants weekly.

To emphasize the brand's focus on natural ingredients and flavors, new illustrations have been integrated into the packaging. Gosh! has acknowledged that plant-based foods often face negative taste perceptions, which this redesign aims to address.

Caroline Hughes, Marketing Director at Gosh!, stated, "At Gosh!, we believe eating more plants should be simple, delicious, and make you feel good. This is why we're championing 'plant points', helping consumers to easily add goodness to their plates. Last year alone, we proudly helped the nation eat 30 million plant points, positively impacting healthier diets, and with our new redesign, we've made tracking it easier than ever as part of our commitment to make plant-based eating accessible for everyone."
