Andalusian horticultural product prices increased in the last week of November

According to data provided by COEXPHAL's Market Intelligence department, the eggplant campaign began with higher prices than last season, reaching €1.38/kg in week 32. In week 36, prices began to fall steadily until they reached their minimum level in October, which forced the sector to activate the extension of the standard, prohibiting the sale of second-category eggplants.

In November, eggplant prices began to recover, reaching €0.84/kg in week 45.

Meanwhile, Zucchini prices have been very low since the beginning of the campaign, especially in weeks 38, 39, and 40, reaching 30 cents. In these same weeks of last season, Zucchini prices reached their highest level, surpassing €2/kg.

The price of Almeria cucumber, until week 41, was lower than in the same period of the previous season, with an average of €0.55/kg. From that week, they began to climb steadily, reaching their maximum price (€1.71/kg) in week 44.
