In the Netherlands, NJ Witkamp has begun its new mini cucumber season. "This year, we're working with more growers, totaling just over 12 hectares. Last year there wasn't enough product to serve all our customers, something we hope to do this year," Morris Peters says.
"After an excellent Spanish import season, we can now offer our trusted Dutch mini cucumbers again. These mini-cucumbers are mainly sorted in nine kg (with flowers) under our Jackpot brand."
"They're also sorted in four kg packs under the Triumph brand. That gives our clients a familiar quality guarantee. If desired, we can also supply this product in EPS or another specific packaging," Morris concludes.
Besides mini cucumbers, NJ Witkamp offers English cucumbers, white zucchini, and Turkish (elongated) eggplants cultivated by various of its growers later in the season. NJ Witkamp sells throughout Europe, including wholesale markets in the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
