Start of auction sales of import vegetables for The Greenery

From Monday 24 October, The Greenery will start auctioning import vegetables. This is The Greenery's response to demand from existing customers. The decision is also in line with the ongoing digitalisation movement.

For years, The Greenery International/Hagé has been a specialist in import products with a strong basis in vegetables from Southern Europe (especially Spain) and North Africa. In many cases, this involves working with regular suppliers for more than 30 years.

Ton Bouw, senior product manager vegetable imports: "We will start with various greenhouse vegetables such as aubergines, courgettes, cucumbers and peppers, which may later be supplemented with other products such as tomatoes and outdoor products. We will start with fixed volumes of quality products."

In addition to the clock sales, The Greenery will also continue to serve its customers on a daily basis in their familiar way.
