"Agretti in greenhouses: Romagna crosses the finish line"

Agretti grown at the "67" farm by Fellini Patrizio is now available. The company operates a 1+ hectare greenhouse, which allows them to be early compared to the competition from outdoor-grown.

"We are performing the first cuttings - begin owners Patrizio and Emile Fellini - and the production is uniform and of excellent quality. Agretti is a novelty for Northern Italy, and thanks to the greenhouses, we can come out early which is crucial. This allows us to place the product in a significant commercial window, with the upcoming increasing demand for Easter."

Agretti, also known as Monk's beard, is a vegetable that is increasingly appreciated by consumers. The harvest is done by hand, cutting just above the ground level, so they are packaged without roots. "We offer 300-gram cardboard trays that can already be ordered," remarks commercial director Andrea Pignato.

The product can be packaged in both cardboard and plastic trays

If this production shows the present of the company, they constantly keep an eye on the future. The annual "Fellini Day" meeting was held at their headquarters, where discussion and the introduction of new ideas are key to outlining and anticipating trends for the next five years.

"With the help of SATA - explains Emile Fellini - we are charting the course for the next five years. What will happen to the market? What will our customers ask for? How should we direct our investments? These are all questions we ask ourselves every year and try to answer with a medium-term horizon, five years. We want to anticipate the times, not chase them, so we're ready to meet market demands."

"But not only that - he concludes - we also want to be pioneers and proposers of new products and trends ourselves, making innovation our watchword in practice, not just in theory."
