Juran Technologies Group -

New machine technology that enhances operations, reduces costs and boost profitability

The Juran Technologies Group develops advanced technologies and mechanization solutions for handling fresh produce and food that will enhance operations, reduce cost and boost profitability of companies. According to Avner Galili, Marketing Director of Juran Technologies, they have several in-demand solutions for a range of fresh products: “We will participate in and visit the two upcoming exhibitions, in Berlin and Anuga in Cologne, 19-23 March to present our innovate machine technologies.”

Galili says he will meet face-to-face with clients and present solutions such as: “Our ArilSystem, industrial extractor for pomegranate arils, EcoLychee, a sulphur-free preservation technology for maintaining the red colour of lychee peel without using Sulphur, and SpudRoll designed for efficient potato, stones and soil separation in the field or at the factory entrance with minimum of mechanical damage to the tubers.”

At these exhibitions, Juran's Galil hopes to meet customers and discuss how these technologies can enhance their operations, reduce costs, and boost profitability. Pomegranate producers can now choose between manual or mechanical extraction of arils, which provides several advantages, including greater efficiency.

He says the ArilSystem boosts stable processing speed, enhancing productivity and cost-effectiveness. Food Safety, high quality equipment for automatic extraction eliminates human contact, ensuring hygienic processing and product quality. High Productivity, it can handle 14 to 56 pomegranates per minute, ideal for large-scale and small-scale operations.

Extended shelf life, mechanized systems near markets ensure arils freshness, reducing waste and increasing profits. Growing global demand, rising global demand and market size create opportunities for pomegranate businesses. Substitute crop, pomegranates can serve as a valuable substitute crop in areas affected by olive tree diseases, ensuring stable local supply explains Galili.

Lychees solution
“Customers, driven by visual appeal, make most of their choices with their eyes. This holds true for lychee, where the vibrant red peel is a key factor in attracting buyers. However, the challenge lies in preserving this visual allure post-harvest. Juran Technologies addresses this with EcoLychee, a revolutionary technology that maintains Lychee peel color for 4-5 weeks without altering the fruit's taste. Unlike traditional methods using sulphur, EcoLychee ensures lychee remains visually enticing. This innovation not only meets consumer expectations but also extends the shelf life of the fruit, making it a game-changer in the competitive fruit market,” states Galili.

“Maintaining strong relationships with customers and manufacturers worldwide is a top priority for our company, as it enables us to stay up-to-date with the latest innovations in our field. Our commitment is reflected in our active participation in leading exhibitions around the world," he concludes.

Those interested can schedule a meeting with Galil in Berlin or in Anuga, Colone during March.
