April 27th and 28th marked the return of medFEL in Perpignan, after a two-year absence. The human scale of the event makes it an ideal place for exchanges between producers and buyers in a relaxed atmosphere. Over two days, the operators of the fruit and vegetable sector were finally able to meet up in person again.

For the occasion, some 20 conferences, debates and round tables were held on current topics, as well as on the figures and trends of the sector. The predictions for this year’s melon and apricot harvests were also presented. The organic production and the nut sector were promoted during this edition of medFEL and the entire reusable packaging industry was very well represented as well.

The event was highly anticipated, with some initial concerns which eventually gave way to a very positive outcome for most visitors and exhibitors. Despite the more limited venue, many interested visitors attended medFEL 2022, which is a testimony to the success of this edition.
