According to the president of the consulting firm Inform@cción, Fernando Cilloniz Benavides, in 2021 Peruvian frozen strawberry exports increased by 50% in volume over the previous year, reaching 30 thousand tons, and by 57% in value, totaling 60 million dollars.
The main destinations for the Peruvian frozen strawberries n 2021 were North America with 23,300 tons worth 46.6 million dollars; Latin America with 3,200 tons worth 6.2 million dollars; Asia with 3,000 tons worth 6.4 million dollars; Europe with 300 tons worth 600 thousand dollars, and Oceania with 100 tons worth 200 thousand dollars. No shipments to Africa were recorded.
