Following the success of the Foodeshow, Jalal Benbrahim and Heuda Guessous, co-founders of JBHG Ltd, have decided to launch a new networking platform for fresh produce and closeout goods: FoodtradeHub with a vision to democratize access to markets to companies over the globe using their 20+ years in the food industry along with the buyers network they have accumulated over the years.
The Foodeshow was launched on September 2020 and the 3rd edition will take place in September 2021. It is a full virtual show focusing on the processed food industry. At the previous virtual show, there were 2000 participants and more than 100 speakers from 90 different countries worldwide.
The new platform FoodtradeHub is a global and exclusive B2B trade network for fresh produce and closeout goods. With seasonal dates it allows exporters and importers of closeout goods and fresh products to meet during intensive networking events to find their next business partners. It For 2021, 4 FreshDays have been schedule with the first one launching next week.

“We believe that virtual networking is complementary to live events and it will help exporters and importers connect the year round and look at worldwide opportunities and eventually select the right in-person event that they can go to,” explains Jalal Benbrahim.

It is complimentary and soon will take the lead on face-to-face events, beside the borderless advantage, efficiency in lead generation along with affordability will give suppliers a target cost effective platform to grow their exports.”

Spring FreshDays is the first five-day digital event where fresh food buyers and exporters can connect and do business. Suppliers will list the products with their specifications, certifications and available quantities and prices, and buyers can also post their specific needs. Using filters all professionals can find what they are looking for in 2 clicks and connect to discuss the details.
“Members have access all year round, thus to create opportunities that will be shared on the virtual market place. When the interest is confirmed, members can chat and schedule video meetings to work the details and confirm the deal.”
There are different levels of membership available:
- Single user annual membership plan including access to 3 events without any additional costs, plus the opportunity to create and publish opportunities year-round.
- Company annual membership with access to 4 members and brand visibility also including 3 events.
- Per event, giving access to the member only during the 5 days to connect with the members.
