Total Canadian Potato Storage Holdings on February 1, 2021 are 9.8% below the 3-yr. average, down 5.9 million hundred weight. New Brunswick leads the decline at 48% less than 3-yr. averages. Manitoba has storage holdings 18.4% above historical averages but has been importing potatoes until just recently.
Ontario and British Columbia have stocks on February 1st, 11% and 12%, respectively, above 3-yr. averages.
