First carrots, spring onions and kohlrabi arrived at AGF-Online this weekend

"German season is really kicking off"

While the German spring onion season started in mid-March at AGF-Online, there has also been a supply of (peeled) asparagus for several weeks. More and more vegetables arrive from our Eastern neighbours at the Germany specialist in Barendrecht trade center.

Sem Tijsterman is the youngest employee, and has recently been added to the
group in the warehouse. In the photos you see Sem testing the German products. It can be seen from his face that everything is in order.

AGF-Online acquired the very first spring onions and carrots from Germany in 2003 and is still very positive about the quality of the German products. "From sowing to harvesting, packaging and transport, everything is done through us," says Angelique van der Mey.

"As of this week, the season really kicked off with the start of the carrot season, the first red spring onions and kohlrabi have also arrived during this weekend. That is also great news in these uncertain times. Many customers know where to find us for these products and that is also why the warehouse is often too small at this time," says Angelique.
