Organic spring crops out of California in full swing

A&A Organic Farms out of Watsonville, California, is offering a full line of spring-time crops, including organic artichokes, organic sugar snap peas, organic broccoli, organic kales, organic chards and even organic turmeric, all from their Central California hub.

Andy Martin, A & A Organic Farms president, also notes they have a steady production of organic strawberries from both the Central Coast and from Ensenada, Mexico. Martin notes that pack options are clams, Ready Cycle and Open Pint Ready Cycle containers.

By offering both traditional clam shell packs and Ready Cycle they can give clients a choice of packaging. A & A Organic Farms has Ready Cycle open pints and 1 lb. boxes for a variety of their produce. Ready Cycle is cardboard packaging made with vegetable-based inks, food-grade adhesives, and a water-based coating. This packaging enables us to follow our commitment to help provide customers with options for environmentally sustainable and earth friendly packaging.

Organic citrus continues to be a major line-up for A & A Organic Farms. Currently organic limes and organic Valencias are available. President Andy Martin notes, “We are sending a container per week of Organic limes from the Jalisco area. Organic lime production will be steady all year."
