At the 28th edition of the Fruit Logistica in Berlin, Kanzi was situated in the new hall 27 with a new stand and with this, GKE managed to attract existing and new future partners. With the specially developed Apple matchmaker, GKE was able to emphasize once again how strongly the taste of the Kanzi apple matches with the global preference of the Fruit Logistica visitors; 91% of the 295 people surveyed at the exhibition this year managed to score a match of 70% or higher.
Positive mood at the Kanzi Global meeting
During the annual global Kanzi meeting, with a rise of more than 100 international relations from all 6 continents, the mood was very positive. “It’s great that our global meeting has such a large turnout and that we can discuss issues such as quality and cooperation with our partners. Quality and continuity are one of the most important pillars for the success of the Kanzi® apple’, according to Dietmar Bahler, CEO of GKE NV.
The power of great taste
Together with the new Apple Matchmaker, the Kanzi Guys, dressed in their red suits, set out on the Fruit Logistica to ask visitors about their general taste preferences in an apple. Tests were conducted at both the GKE stand and that of the Kanzi's partners. 91% of the respondents managed to score a 70% match or higher with the specific tastes of a Kanzi apple. The Apple matchmaker tests the preferred taste profile in the categories Sweetness, Tanginess, Juiciness and crunchiness of an apple.
