BioVibe certified for Biogarantie Made in Belgium

"Calm demand for organic vegetables due to the mild temperatures"

“For the trade, it can get a little bit colder outside. Sales are currently running fairly smooth and the stir for Christmas have not yet begun. Demand is expected to pick up again at the end of the week, but for now it's calm, ”says Johan Verhaeren from BioVibe. “The range of winter vegetables is very good at the moment. There is enough product to meet the demand. We have enough celeriac, potatoes, carrots, leeks and pumpkins for the moment. However, due to the mild weather, consumption is somewhat disappointing. "

Biogarantie Made in Belgium
BioVibe has recently been certified for the "Biogarantie" Made in Belgium label. This label gives consumers the guarantee that the product is guaranteed to be organic and Belgian. This label was established because there was a demand from retailers and consumers for a guarantee for a Belgian product. The label also includes the guarantee that the grower has received a correction price for his product. All our growers are now also connected and we can currently offer almost our entire range under this label. We presently offer apples, pears, carrots, celeriac, carrots and all types of cabbage with the label. Only broccoli and cauliflower are currently only available from abroad, ” Johan concludes.
