Italy and Germany are buying more. France ranks third in surfaces devoted to organic crops.

“Made in Nature”: 25% more organic crops in Europe than in 2012

At the 11th edition of Fruit Attraction, which was held in Madrid last week, Blue Whale presented its new logo, already revealed on June 20th for the 50th anniversary of the company.

For its 50th year of existence, the fair was also the opportunity for Blue Whale to reaffirm its commitments for today and the next 50 years to come. Christophe Belloc, president of the company, addressed the guests: “We have been cultivating good things for 50 years, in several areas. We grow good fruits, our producers are located in the best production basin of France, we cultivate well for our producers, but also for the planet because we produce with the best agricultural practices.”

Today, the HEV (High Environmental Value) certification applies to 25% of the production surfaces of Blue Whale. Next year, all our producers will be HEV certified,” announced Christophe. The company also offers products with the label “zero pesticide residue”, as well as organic products.

The reception was followed by delicious drinks offered by the company.
