To meet this need, an Austrian company, Pack'nlog, came up with an affordable display solution. It can easily be adapted to any campaign too. The Mobile Presentation Island (MBI) lets retailers present fruit and vegetables in plastic, cardboard or wooden trays. It is also suitable for all standard packaging sizes. Users can adjust the system to meet their requirements. All they need to do is exchange the cardboard boxes in the frames. They are then ready for a new season or campaign. The island can be entirely disassembled. It takes up very little storage space.
"The biggest advantage is that clients have all the space they need to add whatever text and design they want to the display. People who use crates also often find it difficult to display their wares. There was, therefore, a clear need for a solution to this problem. The system is economical to use too. Purchasing a new cardboard frame is not so expensive," says Bizerba's Paul te Velthuis.
