Hort360 at Bundaberg AgForum

Growcom is encouraging horticulture growers in the Wide Bay-Burnett region to come along to the 2019 AgForum in Bundaberg on Friday, 10 May.

The AgForum will showcase innovative agribusinesses, including presentations on export market opportunities, attracting investment, succession planning, and the Australia for Agriculture 4.0 initiative. It will be an opportunity to meet other growers and agribusiness stakeholders working in the region.

Hort360 BMP Facilitators, Michelle Haase and Lindsay Allen, are looking forward to attending and will be demonstrating use of horticulture’s best management practice (BMP) tool, Hort360.

“The AgForum is a regional event and a great opportunity to meet agribusiness stakeholders,” said Michelle.

“We will have a display there and be available to show forum participants the Hort360 online platform, resources available, and how horticulture growers can be involved in our Hort360 BMP Great Barrier Reef (GBR) project, funded by the Queensland Government Reef Water Quality Program.”

The AgForum commences at 7am on Friday 10 May 2019 at CQUniversity (Building 5), with an industry breakfast and live broadcast by ABC Wide Bay Local Radio.

To RSVP for the AgForum go directly to the online portal - http://bit.ly/AgForum2019  - or contact Bundaberg Fruit and Vegetable Growers on 07 4153 3007.

Growers unable to attend the AgForum but seeking further information on Hort360 can contact Michelle Haase on 0428 586 890 or via email mhaase@growcom.com.au
