Imports of Israeli carrots into the US begin

Dorot Farm, an exporter of fresh and sweet carrots from Israel, is starting the season with jumbo carrots to the markets as well as foodservice fresh and cut customers.

Dorot Farm supplies cello carrots directly to supermarkets in the Northeast in 1, 2 and 5 pound bags.

Ami Ben-Dror, CEO of BDA/Dorot Farm, reports that “Our customers consume more when they buy fresh products, rather than from storage. They prefer our fresh and quality product.” According to Mr. Ben-Dror, “When you buy fresh, you consume more!”

“I am very happy with the feedback we received from our customers,” Ami Ben-Dror said. “The new crop from Dorot Farm looks good, and I’m very happy with the field’s condition.”
