"Everything started when my grandfather, 20 years ago, tried to find a solution to peel oranges without getting his hands messy," explains José Luis Pérez. They started studying the idea and, after collaborating with experts, the machine finally arrived. After a first investment, the plastic moulds were ready, and little by little, they created a prototype that "obviously has been improving with the passage of time."
After 20 years in the market, this product has managed to find a place in most European countries, as well as the US (which is currently the biggest market), Dubai, Singapore, Australia, India or China. "We are working with a network of points of sale that distribute the products in different areas," explains Pérez, adding that most of the time, these distributors are actually the ones showing interest in the product and offering to market it.
