El Sayed Tantaway is El Roda their Senior Sales Executive. The company is based in Egypt and deals mostly in citrus and pomegranates.

On the left is Mohamed Tahon and on the right is Mahmoud Shabana, both representing Agreen, or Green Egypt for Agricultural Investment. Their stand had the size of three stands and was always full of meetings. They mostly deal in citrus, so the Asian market is huge for them.

Although Australian sweet potatoes will always be more expensive than other source people want to have a steady supply and Australia has a 12 month production.

Philip Bird from Integrow said he exported three times as many onions to the EU this year. He also said Brexit could be a good thing for New Zealand exporters as they have 0% tariffs on onions into the UK.

John Bostock said he was very excited by the development and understanding of organic products in China, although it still a small market and mostly for vegetables, there is steady growth in the demand for organic fruit and the response to the organic Dazzle apple has been fantastic. New Zealand apple exports to China have doubled this season, Alan Pollard from Apples and Pears New Zealand said this was partly due to the drop in the Chinese production and partly due to the tariffs on US apples.
