Beijing Shunjinghai Trading Co (Xinhua Fruits) is an international company trading in fruit and vegetables, with subsidiaries in China, Hong Kong, Australia, Vietnam, and Thailand.
Xinhua Fruit Wholesale was established in 1994, and since 2011, the company has become an international trade company, sourcing high-quality fruit and vegetables from around the world. It was one of the first companies in China to establish processing and production in Southeast Asia, particularly in Vietnam.

"We have four factories in Vietnam and export dragon fruit and durian to China; we also export our dragon fruit to Russia and India," explains Suntao from the company. "We have year-round production of dragon fruit, while durian production is seasonal.
"The weather has been extremely difficult for the growers this year. It rained a lot during our dry season, but it rained less during the rainy season. Summer is too hot and winter is too cold. This seems to be the same all around the world and is not good for fruit production."
Xinhua Fruit's main export markets from Vietnam are China, Russia, India, and the UK. They have sent some to Australia, but demand was very low. The Middle Eastern markets would be interesting according to Suntao, but this is still considered a risky market.
