Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd launch China to US route

A.P. Moller-Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd have unveiled the TP9 service within the Gemini Cooperation framework, targeting Transpacific routes.

This initiative connects East China and Northeast Asia to Long Beach. The service provides direct linkage between Busan and Long Beach, ensuring a transit duration of 14 days, alongside a direct Xiamen to Long Beach service with an 18-day transit time.

The TP9 service complements the current Transpacific offerings and aims to bolster supply chain robustness by introducing enhanced flexibility and improved dependability. The sequence for route operations is established as Xiamen – Busan – Long Beach – Xiamen.
