In a record-breaking feat, the world's longest potato noodle, measuring 500.152 meters (1,620 ft 11.04 in), was created in Dao Bazai Township, Weichang County, China. This noodle, longer than four and a half American football fields, was handcrafted by a team of 14 skilled artisans using traditional techniques. The challenge included kneading the dough, funneling it into boiling water, and cooling it in a tank to perfect its texture. The achievement, verified by a Guinness World Records adjudicator, was celebrated during the Double Ninth Festival, highlighting Weichang's renowned potato industry and supporting the local economy.
