This season started 3-4 weeks ago. Although it's not widely available, my team and I are committed to promoting it and offering cooking advice. To encourage people to try them, I also offer attractive prices and promotions. For example, this week I sold them for €6.95 a bunch - a significant reduction from the original price of €13 a bunch. Plus, I'm offering the third bunch for free."
In addition to wild asparagus, customers can also find medlar, another niche product. Didier explains, "Medlar is a very special fruit, mainly consumed by enthusiasts who eagerly await its arrival. It's a fragile fruit and quite difficult to market. Currently, we sell it for €13.95/kg. Sales are relatively low, but we offer customers the chance to taste them at our counter, and the response is often very positive."
