Valtara introduces a new wrapping machine in Italy

ValTara has introduced the Breezy Wrapper, an innovative machine that integrates horizontal flow wrapping and vertical bagging capabilities for trays and containers. This machine, an evolution of the Breezy Bagger, is designed for a variety of applications including institutional packaging, meal kits, and a range of food and non-food products. The Breezy Wrapper features a unique ability to switch between vertical bagging and horizontal wrapping, enhancing operational flexibility. It operates with a film web of 650mm, accommodating a wide range of bag sizes, and includes a length detection sensor to adjust film usage according to product size, aiming to improve material efficiency and reduce costs.

Julien Gauthier, engineering manager at ValTara, highlighted the machine's role in advancing flow wrapping technology and its potential to meet diverse packaging needs across different sectors. The development reflects broader industry trends towards integrating advanced technologies for improved packaging solutions, as seen in partnerships like that of Volpak and Watttron, and the showcasing of new machinery at international events by companies such as Robopac Machinery and Hugo Beck.
