Tosca, the reusable plastic packaging and performance pooling solutions company, welcomed Laurent Le Mercier as EMEA President, reporting directly to Eric Frank, Chief Executive Officer.
Most recently, Laurent served as the Chief Executive Officer of a French transport and logistics company, Jacky Perrenot with the aim of internationalizing its business in Europe. Previously, he held various executive roles as Chief Commercial Officer at Carousel Logistics, European specialist for time-critical service logistics and as Chief Operations Officer at Transporeon Group, a cloud-based transport and logistics platform.
From 2005 – 2017, Laurent led in various roles for pallet provider CHEP, including Chief Executive Officer for multiple divisions throughout his career there. Commenting on his appointment as EMEA President, Le Mercier said: "This is a really exciting moment in time joining Tosca to support the ambition in becoming the best and largest recycled plastic packaging provider capable of delivering a full range of sustainable packaging solutions to industry manufacturers, FMCGs, growers as well as retailers."
