Peruvian blueberry exports have fallen by 24% so far in this campaign

In the current season, Peru exported 204,975 tons of blueberries from week 24 to week 6. That is 24% less than in the same period of the previous campaign. According to a report by Fresh Cargo Peru, 96.8% of these shipments were made by sea (-26%). Meanwhile, air shipments increased by 205% and accounted for 3.2% of the total.

To date, Peru has shipped 14,067 containers have been shipped abroad for a FOB value of US$998,260,013.

Camposol led exports with a 16% share, followed by Hortifrut Peru (11%), Complejo Agroindustrial Beta (7%), and Agrícola Cerro Prieto (6%). The largest importers were Camposol Fresh with a 12% share, Hortifrut Import (9%), Driscolls (5%), Alpine Fresh (5%), and Nature Avocado Farms (5%). The latter company recorded a growth of 55% over the previous season.
