Transnet Port Terminals has recovery plan to clear backlogs and improve the vessel turnaround time

Transnet Port Terminals handles containers in five main terminals and two multi-purpose terminals across South Africa. Currently, a recovery plan is in place to clear backlogs and improve the turnaround time of vessels calling the container terminals.

It has issued a communication to serve as an update to all its stakeholders on the status of its operations, and has released a table showing the number of vessels at anchor and more.
