Mexico might soon lead the global blueberry industry

International blueberry demand is growing, but consumer demands are growing as well, and they no longer only demand a good consumer experience, but every day there are more voices demanding sustainability standards associated with the fruit and its history of production.

The Mexican industry for years has been positioning itself as a modern industry, which reads the scenarios that are coming very well, so it would not be strange for it to become the leader of the activity at a global level in the near future.

Mexico has grown in volumes of blueberries exported, approaching 80 tons, which is why it is very close to Chile, which has dropped below 90 tons, which means that in the short term it could be within the main exporters of blueberries in the world.
