APMT Moín Container Terminal Costa Rica receives 4000th vessel

APM Terminals (APMT) Moín Container Terminal (TCM) in Costa Rica has seen the arrival of its 4,000th vessel since its opening in 2019. The Margarete Schulte was carrying a primary cargo of pineapples and bananas. The ship sailed from Manzanillo, Panama and is now headed to Cork, Ireland.

The Limón-Moín Port complex has undergone infrastructure improvements over the past three years, allowing it to accommodate ships with greater draughts of up to 8,500 TEU. This has enabled the terminal to offer new services, such as those connecting Ecuador, Peru, Costa Rica, and Europe, as per APMT’s latest statement.
