Due to between 250-300mm rain during November in Bahia, Brazil, watermelon harvesting in the region had to be advanced do avoid costly damages.
Despite advancing the harvest, some parts of the early watermelon crop had some water damage. However, producers still managed to get good productivity compared to last season that will allow them to make some profit.
